Similar to Kalligraphia, but slightly narrower, with less ornate capitals and simpler ascenders for ‘bdhk’ [comparison]. Origin unclear.
Stempel labeled their Reklame-Kursiv as patented original design [1918 specimen] and offered larger sizes in wood [Wetzig 1926–40]. Their Merkur is a related design in three lighter weights.
