ITC Souvenir

ITC’s expansion of Souvenir Graphic (Photo-Lettering), Ed Benguiat’s revival of Souvenir (ATF, 1920), originally designed by Morris F. Benton in a single style in 1914. The ITC version spans 4 weights with newly added matching italics, plus a Bold Outline style. ITC Souvenir was the first typeface to be released by ITC, together with ITC Avant Garde Gothic.

Demibold and Bold weights were adopted by Mecanorma. [Mecanorma 1974]
