Designed by Robert E. Smith. Released in 1942 by ATF as Brush. Also known as Brush Script.

There are many digitizations, of mixed quality in regard to fidelity, spacing or language support. ATF Brush (ATF Collection, 2015) includes all the original glyphs and adds four new weights, with the Medium weight being true to the original.
