Disco Alto is a cultural project that organises album listening sessions in Paris. Each session is presented by a special guest who offers an insight into an album. Music enthusiasts can enjoy a drink whilst listening to an entire album with hi-fi quality in a relaxed atmosphere.

The visual identity echoes Disco Alto’s commitment to bringing music to the forefront. The identity system was inspired by the presence of circles found in music speakers, record players, vinyls and discs. The circles adopt the colours of the session’s particular album cover to create a playful and tailored graphic communication. The bespoke logotype is loosely based on Aurora-Grotesk VIII schmal halbfett by C.E. Weber (1964) — a typeface widely used on record covers. The complementary typeface used for text is Suisse Int’l Light, by Swiss Typefaces.
