Elaine Lustig Cohen designed dozens of book jackets for Meridian Books. This cover for Germany’s Stepchildren features a Gotika capital ‘G’ that packs a punch. This modern blackletter face by Imre Reiner also appears in another Meridian cover designed by Alvin Lustig.
