Vocalist Mario Lanza was born as Alfredo Arnold Cocozza in Philadelphia, 1921. His parents were Italian immigrants. Classically trained as a tenor, he recorded everything from operas to musical comedy and to popular music. In 1959, he died prematurely in Rome, Italy.
The Touch of Your Hand was released by RCA Victor Records in 1955.
