    On the occasion of the 200th birthday of Richard Wagner, Staatsoper Hamburg staged ten different operas by the German composer, all within a mere three weeks — “Wagner-Wahn” (Wagner Mania)!

    We wanted to show something very typical of Wagner. Since it was not possible to bring music to the print medium, we went for his crazy and brilliant librettos. His language simply is unmistakable and style-defining. […] Staging his words in this insane typography attracts attention.
