The Pro24 (1986) was available for Atari ST and Commodore Amiga. It offered “24 MIDI tracks, professional scoring, quantization […] and editing for MIDI parameters like Velocity.”
In 1989, Cubase 1.0 was introduced. One year later it became available for Apple Macintosh,
WaveLab, a “powerful and intuitive audio editor for PC” was released in 1995.
