Milton Glaser’s typeface Glaser Stencil forms the basis of this identity for luxury sportswear brand CWT.

The founder’s family roots are in the 1960s textiles and tailoring trade of Leicester (UK), and the letter-forms seemed fitting given their similar age and urbane aesthetic quality—city-born type for city-born clothing. The logotype is used fairly discreetly, screen-printed onto sleeves or lower panels, and applied inside the garments as high-definition woven labels.

The logo is paired with text in Bricolage Grotesque.
