The default font on Android and other Google services. First released in 2011 for Android 4.0, in 6 weights (roman and oblique), plus Condensed styles. [Android Design] Considerably revised in 2014 for Android 5.0. The most striking differences in the revision include round dots, round glyphs without straight segments, a straight-legged ‘R’, and ‘kK’ without horizontal bridge. Comes with Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic characters.
