Born in 1988, İstanbul; Ali Emre Doğramacı began his design
education in Istanbul Bilgi University Visual Communication Design
Department, did a student exchange in Sint-Lucas Beeldende Kunst
Grafisch Ontwerp Department in Ghent, Belgium and received his
master’s degree after attending the School of Visual Arts MFA
Design / Designer As Author + Entrepreneur Program in New York
City.
Following his graduation he started working as an intern in MTWTF,
a New York based graphic design studio; there, he took part in
design projects for cultural and commercial platforms such as

Following his graduation he started working as an intern in MTWTF, a New York based graphic design studio; there, he took part in design projects for cultural and commercial platforms such as Brooklyn Museum’s temporary signage, Buell Center's House Housing, Astor Place’s branding projects etc. After his return to Istanbul, he worked as a graphic designer in IKSV’s “14th Istanbul Biennial Salt Water”, embedded with Milano-based LeftLoft.
Since 2015 he has been working as a one man studio. Some of his prominent works are; identity & communication materials for “Apricots from Damascus”, an apexart exhibition hosted by SALT; HAS Architect’s “Sound and Light in Architecture”, an audio-visual performance hosted by MSGSÜ Tophane-i Amire Culture and Arts Center; “Commissioners' Exhibition” hosted by SALT; publication design for Ali Mahmut Demirel’s exhibition “Isle” hosted by ARTER.
