A revival of Herman Ihlenburg’s Gothic Ornate (MS&J, c. 1965), without the lowercase. Shown by Photoscript as Scot Gothic [Photoscript 1970] (not yet included in their 1968 catalog) and by Photo-Lettering as Scott Gothic [PLINC One Liner] It’s not clear which came first. Also carried by Lettergraphics as Rimmed Gothic [Lettergraphics 1976] and by Solotype as Scott Gothic. [Solotype 1992] Scot Gothic II is a solid version, apparently intended for layer effects.
