Part of Baloo, probably the world’s first display typeface family to render the ten most-used Indic writing systems in one cohesive style. Provided as ten separate fonts with unique local names for each of the ten Indic Scripts. Baloo Tamma (ಬಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ) is for Kannada. Each font supports one Indic subset plus Latin, Latin Extended, and Vietnamese. Font engineering and type design assistance by Girish Dalvi. First released under the SIL Open Font License v1.1 in 2016, in a single bold weight. Baloo 2 (2020) is a revised version, expanding the design to five weights.
