A revision and expansion of Cornel Windlin’s LL
Cobra (Lineto, 1996).
“Samara Keller proposed to bring Cobra back to life in the age
of Variable Fonts, and set out with correcting and harmonising the
lettershapes, while developing a full glyph set to comply with
today’s standards. She then experimented with modulating the line
widths, which in this case meant narrowing the width of the two
parallel and coherently mono-linear strokes. With its unlimited
range of black-and-white-ratios, the new LL Cobra VIP offers itself
for abundant graphic application, venturing into the territories of
Op-Art and patternmaking.” [Lineto]
