An oblique textura, designed by Edwin C. Ruthven and issued by MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan in 1869 in solid and Shaded (open) styles. Also sold by Triangle as Tokio [Reichardt 2011].
Spanish Main (FontMesa, 2009) is a digital revival and used for the sample. In 2004, Gerhard Helzel made a digital revival of Cursiv-Gothisch, which appears to be a version of the same design issued by Roos & Junge around 1870 [Helzel].
