Designed in-house at Schelter & Giesecke in 1899 [Wetzig 1926–40] or by Heinz Keune in 1905 [Reichardt 2011]. Comes with alternate swash forms and two-color initials [1912 specimen]. Also available in a Greek version [Wetzig 1926–40]. Known in England as Chamwood Italic [Reichardt 2011].
