Made around 1880, this face was cast as Renaissance breit halbfett by AG für Schriftgießerei, Klingspor (before 1900), Schelter & Giesecke, and Stempel; as Latine by John, and as Renaissance halbfett by Woellmer. [Wetzig 1926] It is not clear where this design originated.
