Published anonymously in 1929 under the title Her Privates We, this novel is is considered the ultimate novel of trench warfare of World War I. First time published in Brazil, this edition has four different covers featuring the work of Czech typographer and artist Vojtěch Preissig (1873–1944). During WW I, he designed recruitment posters for the United States armed forces, which were mainly directed at Czech immigrants.

I have this one, such a beautiful and meticulous edition. And numbered, mine is #920. Amazing work!
