    Pairs Project Manifesto:

We have decided to apply the Dogme ’95 techniques and reinterpretation of rules to the medium of analogue film.

We refuse budgets, special effects, post-production, modifications and other technical gimmicks that have seen the editorial and photography world saturated with.

We encourage imagery to further explore the story with the objective to engage the observer, not alienate.

It offers a new take on what’s happening now rather than looking to the future and waiting for trends to be confirmed while denouncing consumption and the fast pace that the industry is riding.

    Anna Barr:

The project is full of no’s from no make-up, no models, no hair, no digital, no post production, no advertising, to no credits. Each photographer was only given one roll of 35mm film to shoot their whole story.

The sans font is Dogma by Emigre

The serif font might be Bodoni Std Black. Monotype’s version seems close.
