Anyone know who designed these?
Maybe “Joan Winters — graphic design,” according to IMDB.
Here’s her imdb page, which proves nothing, but she’s done a fair bit of other period stuff.
The book covers from the opening titles of the little-seen “Gentlemen Broncos” — lovingly recreated sci-fi paperbacks — should be harvested for Fonts In Use.
I wonder where the unknown contemporary designer found the typeface to work on this? There’s no digitalized version and I can’t even find a scan of it.
Hi Miro,
There’s a digital version of Milano Roman made by Image Club Graphics in 1992. I don’t think it still is available for licensing.
