This logo was inspired by toy and game trademarks I grew up with from the 70s and 80s (Colorforms and Hasbro specifically). I wanted the exclamation point to have as much character as the figures themselves, and Poster Bodoni has character for days. Bernhard Gothic was the primary font used by my company at the time and its non-serious tone complemented the logo well.
