The Wall Street Journal hosted The Future of Everything Festival in New York City, inviting innovators and thinkers in science and technology to speak, exhibit and demo their work.
The festival identity – led by Wall Street Journal Designer Director April Bell – is built around a combination of mostly black backgrounds with the WSJ logo and typography set in different weights of (all caps) Sharp Sans Display No.1 by Sharp Type.
On the festival website, Sharp Sans is assisted by another typeface designed in New York: Retina, available from Frere Jones, is used for body copy.
