Hustle exclusively uses the Halyard family for their website. The peer-to-peer text messaging platform employs two of the three subfamilies of Darden Studio’s Grotesque series:
Halyard Display serves for headlines and key figures – with its tight spacing and compact extenders, it’s most effective in large sizes. Halyard Text is used for all smaller text, including menu items and buttons. The text cuts are distinguished by large apertures, economical proportions, and more strongly modulated strokes, ensuring a pleasant reading experience even in smaller sizes and on screen. Halyard’s italics were selected for rendering customer testimonials. The clear-cut typography is complemented by bright-colored vector illustrations, symbols, and background gradients.
