Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz magazine #01
Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (“German State Philharmonic Orchestra Rhineland-Palatinate”) is the largest and most important orchestra in the state, based in Ludwigshafen. It is considered the symphony orchestra of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region with a diverse musical spectrum: this ranges from the great symphonic music to music theater productions to film music projects. This year, the Staatsphilharmonie celebrates its 100th anniversary. For the jubilee season 2019/2020, Michael Francis will be the chief conductor.
Streetart artist Sweetuno developed a “Modern Times” lettering. Modern Times is a concert series with emphasis on early 20th century music. The magazine is not monothematic and is published four times a year.
The typography uses various weights of Moderat, paired with all caps Mériva Extra for headlines.
