Unlike the name might suggest, Biere Brot doesn’t offer any Biere (“beers”), just Brot (“bread”). Bäckerei Biere is a bakery in Detmold, Germany, established in 1930 by Heinrich and Berta Biere in the district of Heiligenkirchen, and is still run by the Biere family. Their neon sign features a monolinear interpretation of Robert E. Smith’s Brush Script (ATF, 1942), with a fat “contour” in the form of the metal casing.
