An undated record with Latin music, released by the Tilton Record Corporation (TLP-501) probably around 1962. While the title track “Mexicali Rose” is by Enoch Light and the Light Brigade, the other ten pieces are credited to Don DeVries and His Orchestra.
The typography uses various widths from ATF’s Franklin Gothic family. Most of the text is set in the Condensed. The track list additionally has the regular-wide style (“Bongo Cha-Cha”). Both widths were designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1902. “Mexicali Rose” and “and the Light Brigade” are in the less commonly seen Franklin Gothic Wide, which was added by John L. Renshaw in 1952.
