The Navigator is a Vancouver Island University’s Student Press and periodical, writing about recent news, arts, sports, lifestyle, literature and varied featured topics:
For the first time in over 50 years, The Navigator will no longer be physically printed and distributed at the University—instead, the publication has moved online with an immersive and future-forward responsive design.
The new website format comes with a redesign. Logo, headers and main titles are set in Eklektyk by Laïc: Type. The logo uses Eklektyk’s alternative o character (accessible as an OpenType feature). Subheaders and navigation use Obviously from OH no Type Co., and body copy is set in Degular, also available from Oh No Type Co.
