Barcelona: títol provisional
The book Barcelona: títol provisional: un viatge literari per la ciutat (“Barcelona, provisional title: a literary journey in the city“) was edited by Andreu Gomila and Diego Piccininno. It offers the possibility of rediscovering Barcelona through the books that use the city as a main character. The book is a perfect excuse to enjoy Barcelona’s most iconic locations and neighbourhoods.
It includes the profiles of eight authors who have left an imprint on the city: Mercè Rodoreda, Jaume Cabré, Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, Roberto Bolaño, Juan Marsé, Quim Monzó, Montserrat Roig, and Maria Mercè Marçal. Argentinian art director Diego Piccininno was also in charge of the book design.
The book uses Xavier Dupré’s Molto in titles and chapter openings; ITC Franklin Gothic is used for subheads, and Charter in texts.
