Poppin rulers
As a font foundry, one of the perks of having an office supplies brand among the customers is that their products sometimes double function as de facto type specimens. We at Darden Studio couldn’t be happier with Poppin’s rulers. They’re the perfect physical showcase for Omnes’s numerals.
Made of transparent acrylic and measuring 13 inches (or 33 centimeters), the rulers come in a range of colors. While the big numbers feature a modified 1, the centimeter scale has the default form with the characteristic nose. As Poppin put it themselves, “the graphic, easy-to-read numbers rule the school.” We can’t argue with that!
Omnes is one of the brand typefaces used by the premium office supplier from New York, and also serves as the basis of their logo. See more from the Poppin identity in a previous post on Fonts In Use.
