Polish publishing house Karakter recently published a book titled Widzieć/Wiedzieć (“to see/to know”), an anthology of the most important texts about design edited by Przemek Dębowski and Jacek Mrowczyk. Fundamental essays from almost forty authors have been translated to Polish, some of them for the first time. The hardbound book has 464 pages and contains texts of El Lissitzky, Jan Tschichold, Beatrice Warde, Paul Rand, Gerard Unger, Paul Stiff, and many others that debate and question contemporary typography and graphic design. The body text is nicely typeset with Skolar. Mark us proud.
