Hana Gohar, design student at the German University in Cairo (Egypt), used Plau as a starting point for the signage of a long neglected method of transportation in Egypt – the Nile Bus.

We were amazed with the way she transformed the font’s features into a signage project and went beyond that, expanding the font into Arabic – all in the same thesis :) No wonder she got an A. Besides being socially relevant, the project turned out beautiful.
