Is it a spaceship? Is it a portal to another dimension? No, it’s just a concrete building in San José Insurgentes, a neighborhood in southwest Ciudad de México, with an unconventional type choice for the address.

The letters and numerals are modeled after Countdown, a futuristic typeface from the Space Age, designed in 1965 by Colin Brignall for Letraset. The sign maker gave the glyphs slightly wider proportions than in the original, with rounder counters.
