Garage Reparation Générale is an auto repair shop on 3909 Rue D’Iberville, in Montreal, Canada. Their signs are based on Jackson (Mecanorma, 1971). While the smaller words stay relatively close to the original design by Bernard Jacquet, the sign maker took more liberties in the execution of the big “Garage”: the tops are less heavy and the verticals are thicker. In both sizes, the middle bar in E is flared.
