Based in Madrid, Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico is “a production unit of the INAEM (National Institute of Performing Arts and Music) that depends on the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Created by Adolfo Marsillach in 1986, it is the reference institution in the recovery, preservation, production and dissemination of theatrical heritage prior to the 20th century, with special attention to the Golden Age and the prosody of classical verse.” — CNTC (translated)
