Lark Design × WithPrint Christmas cards
Lark and WithPrint teamed up to create a range of Christmas cards which were posted to clients and followers to send onto friends or employees, encouraging them to switch off the laptops, switch on the fairy lights and take a well deserved break over the festive season. This project made the shortlist for the D&AD awards in 2021 in the self-promotion category. WithPrint are a specialist print provider located in the South West, offering exceptional services for the creative industry. Lark design studio is a branding design agency based in Leamington Spa. Together, they made a fantastic, festive, promotional project.
F37 Foundry’s F37 Bolton was used for this project. F37 Bolton’s distinctive characters are flat, perfectly horizontal ascenders and descenders. This is an unusual approach, but it underpins F37 Bolton’s uncompromising simplicity.
Comment from Lark Studio:
F37 Bolton was the brand font for WithPrint and we wanted the cards to look like a corporate Christmas mailer that had been doctored. F37 Bolton acts as a contrast to the more expressive hand-drawn type.
The brush script appears to be custom.
