Park & Ride is an Austrian fusion / jazz funk band consisting of Pepi Abicht (trumpet+flugelhorn); Luis Abicht (trumpet+flugelhorn); Simone Beer (accordion), Silvio Sinzinger (guitar); Thomas Hierzberger (bass); Alex Klomfar (percussion); Paul Schneider (drums); and Otto Trapp (didgeridoo + muschelhorn). Their album Medaki was released in 2013 on Various Art Records.
Axia, a sans serif uniwidth typeface composed of concise letterforms, is used throughout. The biform use with uppercase glyphs that reach up to the x-height – as applied on the back of the CD cover sleeve – is a typographic customization.
