Constructed Geographies: Paulo Mendes da Rocha was an exhibition that took place at Casa da Arquitectura in Matosinhos, Portugal. The exhibition aimed to showcase the immense body of work by the Brazilian architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha (1928–2021), which is part of the collection housed at Casa da Arquitectura.

For the identity of the exhibition, design studio R2 chose Atica by R-Typography. Based on the letterforms of Atica, the designers developed several alternative characters inspired by the architecture of Paulo Mendes da Rocha, resulting in Atica PMR, a customized version of Atica Bold. R-Typography remastered these letters and went even further by creating a variable font that interpolated variations of the special characters, offering flexibility and variety when composing words for the exhibition’s communication.
