“De Frontier” (The Frontier) is a housing block in Groningen. It is named as such because it was built near the Helperlinie, a line of defence from the 17th century. Commissioned by Nijestee, it was realized by Thomas Müller Ivan Reimann Architekten between 2003 and 2010. The strong appearance of Bank Gothic suits this place well.
