In collaboration with the United Daily News, our team helped develop a publication with the depth of a book in the form of a magazine’s breadth named 500Mook. Establishing a framework that hopes to, in its debut and for many more issues, lay the foundation for a thinking room for the current in this era.
Ku Mincho’s Latin glyphs are a subset version of Klim Type’s Heldane Text, with lining numerals set to default. A couple of months before the launch, Julius and I had a brief chat where we agreed that both of these typefaces are “old stuff dressed in a sharp, contemporary suit”, and I think he reached out to Klim for the custom job soon after.

The Chinese text is set in 空明朝體 (Ku Mincho, previously named Aero Minchō). Sample glyphs can be viewed at Kowloon Type.
Thank you very much, Ruìxī! I have added the font credit and updated our info for Ku Mincho.
