Estilhaços de Escuridão (“Shards of Darkness”) is the latest spoken word album by the Portuguese supergroup made up by Adolfo Luxúria Canibal, António Rafael, Jorge Coelho and Henrique Fernandes with the collaboration of sound documentarian Sofia Saldanha.
The typeface chosen, Linotype Didot, reinforces the literary and contemplative aspects of the album, allowing the words to resonate and take precedence. Typography becomes a visual representation of the spoken narratives.
