Swaddling her muses she lovingly calls her “children” in a cocoon of self-love and self-acceptance, the exhibition held at DUPLEX in the Lower East Side, houses a series of 13 photographs that intimately capture the sanctity of maternal bonds, while exposing the inner luminosity of each individual’s soul. “MOTHER-HOOD is an opportunity to meet on a stage where intimacy is mental,” Bloda shares. “We are breaking artificial boundaries — bridging the gap, the color gap, the age gap, the culture gap. MOTHER-HOOD is a safe space where everyone is loved,” she adds.
