We’ve partnered with Thorntons for a number of years working on a range of digital and print projects. The brand was founded on a long, proud history of providing accessible, personal, and expert legal services. In June 2014, accessibility came to the forefront when Thorntons announced their acquisition of well-known law firms Murray Donald and Steel Eldridge, giving Thorntons a greatly increased foothold throughout Scotland. Thorntons’ goal was clear—to become one of the top 10 legal firms in Scotland; they called on us to provide them with a reinvigorated brand identity which both acknowledged the merger and an exciting future ahead, yet held onto the strong Thorntons heritage and reputation which had developed since 1857.
