Founded in 2002 by Fred Smeijers and Corina Cotorobai with Rudy Geerarts and Martine Leloup (both of FontShop Benelux). OurType was discontinued in 2018 and followed up by a new label, Type By. For typefaces by Smeijers and former OurType designers Thiemich, Weber, Wagner, Göldner, and Pané-Farré, see Type By. For typefaces by Artur Schmal, see Original Type.
