Wilhelm Bilz

Affiliated with the Ludwig & Mayer foundry in Frankfurt. His role is unclear. Some sources state he was art director [Bernd Feldmann], and indeed Bilz is co-credited for two typeface designs on index cards by Ludwig & Mayer. Others dispute this claim, and describe his role as that of a manager. [Reichardt/Hoefer]
