Fust & Schöffer ‘Durandus’ 118G is a Gotico-Antiqua first used in Mainz by Peter Schöffer & Johann Fust for Guillaume Durand’s Rationale Divinorum Officorum in 1459. [ANRT]
A digital revival was made by Alexis Faudot and Rafael Ribas (used for sample), based on a Latin Bible (1462), Epistolae by Hieronymus (1470), and De officiis by Cicero (1466). Directed by Jérôme Knebusch, Atelier National De Recherche Typographique (ANRT), Nancy. Made freely available in 2019 as part of ANRT’s Gotico Antiqua series.
