Shown in the 1865 printer’s specimen of Rand & Avery and in the 1868 catalog of MacKellar, Smith & Jordan (est. in 1867, previously Johnson & Co.) [Devroye] as Cuneiform. Still shown in the MS&J ca. 1878 catalog and mentioned in the 1891 price list, in two sizes, Great Primer and Two Line Pica. Does not appear in MS&J’s 13th (1880) or 15th (1884) catalogs.
