Savon was designed in 2017–2019, initially as a
custom typeface for e162.eu, the
website of Estienne’s DSAA Typo class. Savon Regular
was designed by Fanny Hamelin. Savon Italic was drawn
by Léo Guibert and Loan Bottex. Savon Bold is by
Marion Sendral. Made available on request from E162 in 2018. The
roman and italic styles were released for commercial licensing by
Hamelin in February 2020.
