A “Casual Serif” series by Filmotype, including Apache (narrow), August, Arrow (wide). August came first, the others were added in 1955. [Filmotype 1955] Beaver is a bolder wide style, Vessel is an open and shaded variant, Cutlass is a wide oblique. Arbor is a sans-serif version.

Apache was digitized as Stanley (Panache, 1992) and as URW Apache (URW, 1995, used for sample). August was digitized as Jester (anon., 1992).
