A Tuscan with bifurcated serifs and double mid-height spurs. Shown in Dan X. Solo’s Victorian Display Alphabets (1976) as Shimmer Wide. Origin unknown. Shimmer as shown in the 1992 Solotype catalog is a related narrower style.
Shimmer Wide was digitized around 2013 [THP] by Alan Jay Prescott as Shifty Wide (used for sample). Type No. 12 WF (Walden Font Co, 1995, 2011) seems to be another digitization of the same design.
