Shown in Typeshop’s 1973 catalog in 7 styles: Light, Medium, Bold, Ultra, Inline (outlined), Line (much like Filmsense A), Color Line (like Line w/o solid fills). A later Typeshop catalog shows an 8th style named Center Line (similar to Dubbeldik or Yagi Double). Expressa Line & Color Line were also carried by Hollenstein in 1974.
Digital versions only cover the solid styles, in 5 weights. They are more consistent and don’t match the phototype original in all details, and also lack the alternates. Versions include Expressa EF (Elsner+Flake), TS Expressa (TypeShop Collection, like EF, with obliques), Expressa Serial (SoftMaker, different e.g. in ‘s’ or ‘1’).
